Server Stability
Is it true? Is the Eve Cluster finally stable? It appears that CCP might have just pulled it off, reminding me of those days back when Exodus was the shiznit. Although CCP has made huge strides in server cluster stability, there still remains the constant problem of full systems locking up (Jita comes to mind). If those tasks can be accomplished then I believe CCP might just have an extremely stable MMORPG environment that is something to be reckoned with. Keep it up CCP, we like what we are seeing. Thanks for the hard work.

UPCOMING EVENTS
EVENTS
Renewed interest in this alliance has sparked several talks of more corporations joining us. It seems we may be on the verge of a growth spurt and I encourage all of you to please be as active as possible. I know alliance events have been on the slow train lately but I am going to try and get that going again starting now. Please check other news items for event notification and registration. I am planning a mining operation, a mission operation and another treasure hunt. Please be aware that I may enlist several of you for assistance as it takes much time to organize and host these events. As always if you have ideas about events you think the alliance can benefit from then by all means, shoot me a PM.

Treasure Hunt
Treasure hunts are fun, pure and simple. They can also be valuable tools to hone coordination and to also know your fellow members better. We had a treasure hunt on Sunday 9 March 2008 and it was short notice therefore turnout was small. However, those that attended had a good time and all indicated that they would enjoy others in the future, especially if they were larger.

We can for sure have more treasure hunts and I plan on having one in a couple of weeks. Hopefully we will have a larger turnout and it will be announced far enough in advance for all to attend. If you have any ideas for items to be placed on the treasure hunt list then by all means let me know. I do want them to be time consuming but not impossible.

Wonderful People
As you all have noticed when we first set up this site it was a freely hosted site by GoDaddy with an obnoxious advert banner across the top which also slowed website performance nd took away from the site's theme. I decided I would put up a donation block to take donations so that we could make the website a paid hosting one therefore getting rid of that stupid banner. Not expecting much and sort of reluctant to do it in the first place I went forward with the idea and on the first day we had an amazing amount donated for website hosting. It just goes to show you that members of this alliance are in it for more than just a ganking good time, they have heart and soul and truly enjoy the game. I strive to make all my fellow alliance members happy and as always, my door is open.

Wrapping up the war
The EvE Consortium alliance proved many things at the end of the recent war. Many of us learned about each other and ourselves. Leaders were born, newcomers found new hope and positions within the ranks. Strategies were formed and plans implemented that proved successful in large numbers. In the face of adversity people find ways to compensate for their shortcomings. Everyone can be an asset during war time and everyone can play an important role. There are no small roles during war, only small ships.
